AMEXCI AB is an Additive Manufacturing company founded by eleven Nordic industrial companies. Our vision is to futureproof our Nordic Industries together with our customers, by accelerating the industrial adoption of Additive Manufacturing (AM/Industrial 3D printing) technologies, making them even more competitive and sustainable on the global market.

We support our customers throughout the entire process chain in the development of their products, using AM as an enabler for higher performance, increased efficiency, shorter lead times, and more. At our labs in Karlskoga, Sweden, we have the capability to design, produce and qualify components using state-of-the-art industrial AM equipment. 

We are expanding our team and we are looking for an experienced CNC Operator, preferably with a strong background from prototype workshop operations, to join us.

The Job:

  • You will be part of the Development team, responsible for Post Processing of 3D printed metal parts.
  • You will learn about our in-house industrial 3D printing processes and apply this knowledge in the job.
  • You will operate our new, 5 axis, CNC machine to do post-processing on our 3D printed parts and surrounding work tasks in our Development team.
  • Documenting actions by completing production and quality logs and creating measurement protocols when needed.

 

Qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years of experience of working with 1st article, 5 axis machining.
  • You have experience in working with different materials such as aluminum, steels and superalloys.
  • You have experience in building your own fixtures as well as procuring necessary tooling for the job.
  • You know how to measure and control your own work during the process.
  • You are comfortable planning and programming your jobs with Heidenhain TNC 620.
  • Knowledge in Q parameter and FK programming is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge in CAD-CAM is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • You have a structured way of working, can work independently when required and are not afraid to take initiatives for improving the work.
  • You are motivated and eager to learn continuously.
  • You are thorough in your work when needed and do not mind spending the extra time to do things right.
  • Since our official company language is English, it is important that you have good English communication skills.
  • Previous experience in additive manufacturing is favorably but not needed for this position.
  • How you are as a person is important to fit within our team so part of the recruitment process will include meeting with your future colleagues.
