Meet Höganäs

Höganäs is the world leader on the market for iron and metal powders with a yearly capacity of 500,000 tons. Together with their customers, they develop tomorrow’s solutions for automotive components, brazing, electrical motors, additive manufacturing and water treatment. Their portfolio of 3D-printing metal powders covers the full range of additive manufacturing processes, including nickel, iron and cobalt based alloys. The company was founded in 1797 and is owned by Lindéngruppen and Wallenberg owned FAM.

Meet AMEXCI

AMEXCI, a Nordic Additive Manufacturing company, develops, together with its customers, a new generation of products where AM acts as an enabler for higher competitiveness and more sustainable production. Furthermore, we offer a range of trainings and workshops to build successful business cases. We have the capability to design, produce and qualify components.

Who can you meet at Formnext 2021?

Edvin Resebo is CEO of AMEXCI, since the founding of the company in 2017. Background in AM from Siemens Energy business based in Finspång, Sweden, working in R&D for Industrial Gas Turbines (IGT). My vision is to see AM technologies being widely adopted through all business sectors and how we can enable companies on their AM journey to create more resource efficient, high performing and sustainable products.

Joel Andersson is Head of Operation at AMEXCI since the founding of the company in 2017.  At Formnext 2021, I am looking forward to see how the market is adopting towards serial production in everything from powder handling, more productive printers, to surrounding equipment for more effective post-processing.

Johannes Karjalainen works as a Managing Director of AMEXCI Oy, having a strong background in Additive Manufacturing, with a focus on design and metal materials. Earlier he was one of the co-founders Etteplan’s AM operations and led FAME (Finnish Additive Manufacturing Ecosystem) before joining AMEXCI in September 2021. Johannes wants to support AMEXCIs customers and enable them to have more portable business by using AM.

Manja Franke works as the Head of Research at AMEXCI and has comprehensive knowledge in technologies like L-PBF and SLS out of her former work experience at EOS. Her responsibility within the company is to drive internal and external Research to generate value for AMEXCI shareholding companies, as well as managing public funded projects with Research Institutes and other partners.

Benjamin Delignon works as Head of Innovation at AMEXCI, and has built 7 years of experience of Additive Manufacturing using various materials and technologies for multiple industries. He focuses on knowledge transfer with trainings and workshops, and support customers during the initial phase of their AM journey through cases analyses and development projects.

Merve Canalp works as a Researcher at AMEXCI and her expertise lies in the field of polymer materials. Her daily tasks include investigating Polymer AM applications and contributing to corporate R&D projects.

Srikanth Purli, works as a Design Engineer with a major focus on Design for Additive Manufacturing. He specialises in bringing the value add with applications via AM.
