CNC Operator
At AMEXCI, you will be an important part of the manufacturing flow of advanced 3D-printed metal components, from metal powder to finished component. We are now looking for a CNC Operator who wants to work close to production, post-processing and quality control in a modern industrial environment. You will set up and run our machines, make simpler program adjustments, and help with fixturing and tool selection. The role suits someone who enjoys precision and hands-on work at the machine — we work with materials such as titanium, Inconel, 316L and aluminium.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run our CNC machines with Heidenhain control systems
- Make simpler program adjustments at the machine
- Help with fixturing and tool selection
- Measure and check your own parts
- Assist in post-processing, such as deburring and grinding
- Handle EDM wire cutting and blasting when needed
- Complete production and quality logs
- Contribute to order, structure and 5S in production
Requirements
- Experience of CNC machining
- Experience of 5-axis machining, prototypes or smaller series is a plus
- Familiarity with a CNC control system, preferably Heidenhain; knowledge of Mastercam is a plus
- Used to setting up and fixturing parts
- An eye for quality and a habit of measuring your own work
